End of lease - what's next?

What happens at the end of a car lease? You have some deciding to do! Obviously, we’d love for you to renew for more zen times, but you also have the choice to walk away and call it a day.

You have 3 options:

  1. Renew
  2. End Lease
  3. Extend

Renew – get some new wheels

Loved the zen way of life? Stick around to enjoy:

End lease – return my car

So, how’s the breakup work?

Tell us that you’d like to return the car on this form.

Once your final direct debit has been taken, we’ll email you to start the collection process. Or you can reach out to us with the best date for you. Find out about the whole process of what happens at the end of a car lease over on our handy Car Collection page.

Then we’ll spend the next few weeks trying to get over the heartbreak *reaches for the ice cream and plays sad songs on repeat*.

On a more serious note, please be on time with handing your car back. If it ends up being late, you’ll be charged a daily pro rata rate until the car is back with us.

You’ll be invoiced any late/damage/additional mileage charges after the collection of your car.

 

Extend lease – keep my car a little longer

Can I buy my car at end of lease? We offer PCH which means this option isn’t available at the end of your lease but if you’re not ready to say goodbye to your wheels just yet, you might still be able to keep your car for a bit longer

In some circumstances it may be possible for you to extend your lease beyond the original end date. If you want to apply for an extension, then be sure to contact us well in advance of your lease ending. But don’t worry, we’ll be in touch to remind you about your end of lease options well before your contract ends, so you’ll have plenty of time to decide your next steps!
