About the Awards

The Heart Yorkshire Hero Awards are brand new to 2022 – organized by Heart Radio. With a selection of seven awards up for grabs, from the Teacher Award to the Carer of the Year Award, it’s all about celebrating hard working individuals across Yorkshire.

The winners will be announced at a sparkly awards ceremony on Thursday 29^th September at Headingley Stadium, Leeds.

Why We’ve Got Involved

Since 2017 when ZenAuto drove onto the scene, our headquarters have always been in Yorkshire. Our current ZenAuto home is just down the road from Kirkstall Abbey, Otley Chevin and Harewood House – three classic Yorkshire spots. And we’re reyt chuffed about it.

So, when we found out about the Heart Yorkshire Hero Awards, which celebrate Yorkshire people who have done quite simply amazing things, we felt like it was an award very close to our hearts (no pun intended).

We also have lots of fabulous NHS customers. We’re proud to make their lives that little bit easier with our hassle-free way to get a car, so they have more time for the important things.

As a team, we’re big believers in not only recognizing amazing work, but also rightfully rewarding it. So, the NHS Hero Award seemed like the perfect opportunity to practice one of our core values.

We can’t wait to meet the outstanding NHS Hero on the night. And we extend a big thank you to the NHS staff up and down the country, who work tirelessly to look after us.
